Overplay Terms of Use

Last updated: 27 September 2026

Overplay is a Mac app made by Bitblix Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). These terms explain the basis on which you use it.

Your licence

Overplay is distributed through the Mac App Store and is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). The Standard EULA is the agreement between you and us for the app. The notes below explain how it applies to Overplay and don't replace it. If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA applies.

The videos you use

Overplay plays videos that you choose, on your Mac. You're responsible for having the right to use them, for example footage you recorded yourself or have permission to use. Overplay doesn't upload, share or change your videos.

Your privacy

Overplay sends anonymous usage statistics, which you can turn off in Overplay › Settings › Privacy. The Overplay Privacy Policy explains exactly what is sent and what isn't.

Your consumer rights

Overplay comes with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and you may have similar rights under the laws of your own country. Nothing in these terms or the Standard EULA excludes, restricts or changes those rights. Apart from those rights, and as the Standard EULA sets out, Overplay is provided "as is", and our liability is limited to the extent the law allows.

Support and updates

If something isn't working, please contact us through the support page. We may release updates that add, change or remove features.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. This doesn't take away any protection you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
